Essex Meadows is seeking dedicated and hospitality-focused servers to join our culinary team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents and their guests. This part-time position offers up to 20 hours of work per week, primarily during weekends, holidays, and special events. As a server, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a high level of customer service, ensuring that our residents enjoy their meals in a warm and welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to engage with our residents, learn their stories, and contribute to their quality of life through attentive service. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and communicating our menu offerings, including daily specials, and making appropriate suggestions to enhance the dining experience. You will learn the department's steps of service, which will guide you in providing efficient and friendly service throughout the meal period. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area and service stations is essential, as is restocking service items as needed. You will also assist with dishwashing and the distribution of clean dishes when required, ensuring that the kitchen and dining areas operate smoothly.
