Redcoat Tavern is a well-established, high-volume, fast-paced restaurant located at 31542 Woodward Avenue, Royal Oak, MI 48073, in business since 1972. We are currently looking to hire servers for both full-time and part-time positions due to our recently expanded hours and increased seating capacity. Our restaurant is known for its vibrant atmosphere and commitment to excellent customer service. We are closed on holidays, allowing our staff to enjoy time off during these periods. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, customer-oriented individuals who thrive in a busy environment and are eager to contribute to our team. As a server at Redcoat Tavern, you will be responsible for taking food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude. You will engage with customers in a friendly manner, ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience. Knowledge of the menu is essential, as you will be expected to make suggestions and answer any questions patrons may have. You will also be responsible for ensuring that tables are enjoying their meals and addressing any issues that arise promptly. Collecting payments and preparing checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you may assist food preparation staff when necessary, contributing to the overall efficiency of the restaurant.
