The Server position is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional dining experiences for community residents. The Server is responsible for ensuring a welcoming environment, prompt service, and adherence to sanitation and safety standards. This role includes mentoring new associates and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dining areas.

Provide prompt, pleasant, and efficient service to all community residents visiting dining rooms and activities.
Act as a mentor for new associates.
Ensure all checklists are completed during the shift.
Complete temperature logs during the shift.
Assign job tasks and follow up on assigned tasks.
Work with the Department of Health on schedules.
Ensure wet floor signs are in place.
Uphold all sanitation requirements.
Handle resident complaints and ensure satisfaction through table touches with cooks.
Ensure timely service in memory care and assist with clean-up.
Maintain dining areas to exceed standards of appearance and cleanliness.
Ensure staff maintains personal hygiene and uniform standards.
Protect the confidentiality of resident information.
Provide a pleasant dining experience while meeting specific dietary needs.
Set up dining rooms properly while meeting hospitality standards.
Obtain food and supplies for meal service as directed.
Distribute and store clean dishes.
Practice safe and sanitary food handling during preparation and service.
Perform cleaning duties in dining room, kitchen, and serving areas as directed.
Mop floors in designated areas as instructed.
Observe all safety and loss prevention procedures.

Passion for working with and around senior citizens.
Ability to perform required duties on a regular, predictable basis.
Familiarity with reporting a missing person using the Safe Return program or equivalent.
Understanding of fire evacuation steps.

Experience in a similar role or environment.
Knowledge of dietary needs and food service standards.

Flexible scheduling options for shifts.
