Requirements

• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.
• Strong guest services skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A genuine interest in hospitality and providing outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns.
• Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Utilize OpenTable or similar systems for managing reservations and guest flow.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, particularly in fine dining settings.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively.
