This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, with a focus on engaging with guests and providing top-notch hospitality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary role is preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Excellent guest service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a clean dining experience.
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar tools.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or busy periods.
