About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant fine dining Mediterranean restaurant. The Server will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued while maintaining the standards of our establishment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in fine dining.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and guest services.
• Ability to handle cash register operations efficiently and accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer interaction.
• Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively while enhancing the guest experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring satisfaction with each course.
• Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating excellent guest services.
• Process payments accurately using cash register systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
• Uphold the restaurant's standards of hospitality, professionalism, and fine dining etiquette.
