About The Position

Bern’s Steak House seeks detail-oriented self-starters to become the newest members of a strong, energetic and motivated team. Position Summary: The server position offers a flexible and unique opportunity to hone your food, wine and spirits knowledge in a high volume fine dining environment unlike any other. This is a great position to further your experience in the hospitality industry and work for a successful company that rewards hard work and dedication. We are currently looking for all levels of experience.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Command of the English language and strong communication skills.
Professional well groomed appearance.
Must have availability during weekends and nights. Possess the ability to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends and some holidays.
Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. multiple times during a shift.
Use of hands required 100% of the time.
Stand, walk, bend and lift throughout a 6-10 hour shift.

Responsibilities

Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a high volume fast-paced environment.
Ability to seamlessly transition from working independently to contributing as a member of a team while delivering exceptional customer service to provide every guest with a lasting and memorable experience.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with a focus on the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
