About The Position
Omo Japanese Soul Food is a local Japanese restaurant seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to fill the roles of Servers and/or To-Go Specialists. Our team is dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers, and we are looking for individuals who share our passion for hospitality and service. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive until they leave. In this position, you will be responsible for greeting and seating customers, taking their orders, and serving food with a smile. You will also handle payments and ensure that all transactions are processed accurately. A key part of your role will involve learning about our menu items, so you can provide recommendations and answer any questions our guests may have. For those working in the To-Go Specialist role, you will be responsible for packing and preparing takeout orders, ensuring that they are ready for customers in a timely manner. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the server station is essential, and you will be expected to clean as needed, fold silverware, and ensure that all items are dry and clean. Additionally, you may be asked to assist with other tasks as needed to support the team and enhance the overall dining experience.
