About The Position

The Server position at Salt Factory is focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests through high-quality service and hospitality. The role requires maintaining a friendly and energetic demeanor while ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety standards. Servers are expected to be knowledgeable about the menu and beverages, and to provide attentive service that anticipates guests' needs. Requirements

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to understand directions given by management.
• Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures outlined in server training.
• Must complete server training to ensure knowledge prior to working a solo shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver exceptional experiences for every guest.
• Handle volume and stress with composure and finesse.
• Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance.
• Demonstrate knowledge of food, wine, beer, and spirits to confidently answer guest questions.
• Ensure cleanliness of personal appearance, tables, and the restaurant.
• Provide unobtrusive and anticipatory service to guests.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and enter them in the POS system in a timely manner.
• Collect and process payments from tables promptly.
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverages and retrieve alcoholic beverages from the bar, garnishing drinks as needed.
• Check guests' identification to confirm legal drinking age.
• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, management, bar, and kitchen staff.
• Circulate between tables, bar, and kitchen to provide great service.
• Consolidate trips to improve efficiency in service.
• Wipe down booths, line up tables and chairs, and ensure proper table setup.
• Stock and restock throughout the shift as needed.
• Brew tea and coffee as required during the shift.
• Assist other servers with food delivery and perform bathroom checks.
