About The Position

The Server in Memory Care at The Sheridan at Park Ridge is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to residents and guests. This role emphasizes hospitality and teamwork, ensuring that the dining experience is pleasant and meets the needs of all individuals served.

Requirements

• No experience is necessary, although previous food service experience is preferred.
• Must go through food safety training to obtain required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills for POS system and payroll system.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Accept food orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Deliver food and beverages to residents and guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure resident and guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Actively buss and reset tables as well as complete assigned side work.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.
