Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospitality role, preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
• Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who is adaptable and willing to assist colleagues when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations to ensure efficient seating arrangements.
• Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests while answering any questions they may have.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication throughout service.
• Buss tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next patrons.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Assist in managing guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy shifts.
