About The Position

Serve resort guests food and beverage products. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous Front of the House (FOH) Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
• TIPS & ServSafe certification; Food Handlers Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve resort guests in a timely and courteous manner, strong people skills.
• Receive payment and provide change.
• Daily balancing of individual bank.
• Cleaning of food and beverage preparation areas.
• Assist bartenders and cooks in all guest service functions.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and as assigned.
• Be cost conscious and honest.
• Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.
