This position involves working closely with our Culinary Director to ensure that dishes are made, served, and cleaned up, while also engaging with our residents to enhance their dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service is a plus, but willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to adapt to changing roles on the fly.
• Positive attitude, especially during busy times.
• Patience and understanding when addressing customer requests or concerns.
• Attention to cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
• Team player with a willingness to help others.

Responsibilities

• Prep food as needed per the Culinary Director.
• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
• Serve dishes to our residents in a kind manner.
• Assist in cleaning pots, pans, and keeping the kitchen area spick and span.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.
• Get hands-on with dishwashing, making sure everything sparkles and shines for the next round of deliciousness.
• Jump in to help clear tables and keep the dining rooms looking great.
• Support the team by serving resident meals as needed.
• Be the hero of hygiene, making sure floors and surfaces are always at their best.
