About The Position

The Dining Room Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living is responsible for providing exceptional dining and table services to residents, ensuring a high-quality dining experience in accordance with company standards. This role involves training team members, maintaining dining room setups, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, all while fostering a warm and engaging environment for residents.

Requirements

• High School diploma preferred / GED accepted
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Competent in organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, and decision making skills

Responsibilities

• Serving as a role model in providing dining service to residents
• Assisting with training team members
• Maintaining proper dining room setup
• Assisting in special events
• Monitoring appropriate checklists to support dining area cleanliness and readiness
• Assisting in tabletop inventory maintenance
• Handling all food and beverages in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service
