Job Summary: The Server/Counter Clerk maintains effective communication with guests and fellow team members. Specific forms of communication include answering questions, making suggestions regarding Food & Beverage Service, writing down orders, requesting identification from guests when legal age is qu estionable, relaying food orders to the kitchen, relaying beverage orders to the bartender, answering phone properly and articulating a working knowledge of the Resort and Food & Beverage Department . Responsible for taking money in the forms of cash, check, credit card or room charge from guests in quick service outlet. Prepare food and beverages according to property set standards. Responsibilities: Serve food and beverage to guests according to standard operating procedures Ensure high standard of sanitation and hygiene in the work area Perform cashiering tasks according to the set standards Carry food and beverage trays up to 25 pounds throughout the dining area including going up and down the stairs Maintain cleanliness of various restaurant areas to ensure guest satisfaction Constantly review standard food presentation, service and operating procedures Ensure that all guest orders and related requests are c arried out along with any reports or complaints Able to drive resort vehicles for delivery orders Handle any side duties as assigned by their trainer Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old Self - motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail Servers must be able to work outside in cold or hot temperatures This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform is also required.
