About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a full-service, fine dining restaurant with a service level similar to Auberge Du Soleil
  • Must be able to stand and work 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
  • Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work on a fast-paced team
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and be able to lift up, push, and pull at least 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Lead all service team members during service, ensuring required tasks are completed to company standards
  • Interpreting, communicating, and executing all guest reservation requests, ensuring expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Provide guest experience notes to assist in building guest relationship data for future dining experiences
  • Navigate guests through each step of their dining experience, including taking orders and delivering requested items in an efficient and timely manner as per company standards
  • Engage with guests about needs, satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, and a consistently caring and high-quality service
  • Comply with all Forbes standards, consistently working towards elevating the guest experience
  • Contribute to improving the F&B sales revenues through superior knowledge of all menu items and heart-felt guest engagement
  • Describe all food menu items in-depth, highlighting local purveyors, sources, products, and unique preparations
  • Describe all wine, cocktail, and beer offerings, distinguishing selections based on guest preferences, creating a strong sense of personalized service
  • Accurately and quickly place all food and beverage items into the POS system, ensuring proper service timing
  • Prepare the guest check accurately and collect payment or signature as required
  • Operate, maintain, and properly clean all restaurant service-related equipment and dining areas, ensuring the restaurant is organized and well-presented at all times
  • Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to food safety guidelines
  • Provide safe and responsible beverage service, as per Federal and State regulations, preventing any personal or company risk related to alcohol service
