About The Position
As a Server/Captain at 980 Prime Chamonix Casino Hotel, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly and assist them in seating, providing menus, and ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for settling guests with water, beverages, and bread, while also relaying any daily specials or promotions. Your knowledge of the menu will be essential as you elaborate on items, ingredients, and preparation techniques, while also inquiring about any food allergies to ensure a safe dining experience. You will accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and input them into the POS system, providing recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions. It is vital to collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that all orders for a table are prepared and served promptly and simultaneously. You will serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring accuracy and appealing presentation, while checking on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and addressing any requests or concerns. Maintaining a clean and organized dining area is part of your duties, which includes replenishing drinks, clearing plates, and resetting tables. You will deliver attentive and personalized service by anticipating the needs of guests and handling any complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary. Working closely with fellow servers, hosts, and kitchen staff will be essential to ensure smooth service. You will also present bills to guests and process payment transactions with precision and speed, while participating in pre-shift meetings and mandatory training sessions to stay updated on service standards and policies.
