About The Position

As a Bartender/Server at the prestigious Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort's Private Beach Club, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for crafting and serving exquisite beverages while ensuring impeccable service to our discerning guests. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to fill in as a server when needed, showcasing your versatility and commitment to providing a seamless dining experience.

Requirements

• Proven bartending experience in an upscale or high-volume establishment.
• Exceptional knowledge of beverage preparation and presentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to fill in as a server when needed.
• TIPS or equivalent responsible beverage service certification is a plus.
• Must be of legal drinking age and comply with all state and local alcohol service regulations.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Maintain a deep knowledge of the resort's beverage menu, ensuring accurate and enticing recommendations to guests.
• Monitor and control inventory, including ordering supplies as needed.
• Create an inviting and engaging bar atmosphere for guests.
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner.
• Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Fill in as a server when required, providing seamless service during peak hours or as necessary.
• Assist guests with menu selections and dietary preferences.
• Deliver food orders promptly and accurately, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and support staff to ensure efficient service.
• Collaborate closely with fellow bartenders, servers, and the entire Beach Club team to ensure a cohesive and harmonious work environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, even during high-pressure situations.
