ROLE SUMMARY: The Server Assistant supports the restaurant service team in providing a seamless, elevated dining experience for every guest. This role ensures that tables are set, cleared, and reset efficiently, beverages are refilled promptly, and guests receive attentive service from start to finish. The Server Assistant helps maintain the polished, warm, and authentic atmosphere that defines Hotel Drover’s Legendary Hospitality standard

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel or hospitality experience.
Knowledge of basic food and beverage service standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction
Strong knowledge of the City of Fort Worth and other parts of the DFW metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

Assist servers in providing exceptional guest service by supporting all aspects of front-of-house operations.
Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently to ensure smooth seating transitions.
Refill water glasses, deliver bread or additional items as directed, and anticipate guest needs.
Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to coordinate service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including server stations, beverage stations, and dining spaces.
Assist with polishing and restocking glassware, silverware, and China as needed.
Ensure all service areas are fully stocked before, during, and after service periods.
Work with the Executive Steward to develop and implement new cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards set by the Food + Beverage department.
