About The Position

The Server Assistant assists the server in providing an expertly served dining experience conforming by clearing and resetting tables.

Requirements

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish language.
• Minimum one-year food and beverage service or equivalent.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and service the owner and guest's needs before requests are necessary.
• Retrieve and stock all linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
• Provide unobtrusive and professional service.
• Provide water throughout the meal to guests.
• Carry trays properly and safely as well as break them down.
• Clear tables and reset them for specific number of persons.
• Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
