About The Position

The Server Assistant is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives covering the hotel's food service venues. The Server Assistant sets up, services, and breaks down the food and beverage areas where they are assigned, ensuring high quality, consistency, and service. The Server Assistant also assists the Restaurant Servers with cleaning guest tables and the restaurant area.

Requirements

1-2 years of restaurant experience
Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time for training and safety purposes, and when interacting with guests and associates.
Strong communication skills
Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities

Establish service standards throughout the guest experience.
Ascertain guest satisfaction.
Assist service staff as directed by the manager.
Supply assigned station with all items needed for daily operation.
Serve water, coffee, juice, and other beverages and refills.
Clear extra place settings at the table.
Maintain customer relations at the table.
Complete all closing side work properly.
Perform any duties as requested by the manager.
Handle stress and multiple tasks (to organize service steps).
Maintains good interpersonal relations with guests and co-workers.
