About The Position

At Main Event, Server Assistants support the Server to ensure Guests have an amazing experience. Primary duties include helping with refills, pre-bussing tables, assisting with table turns, and ensuring dining areas are spotlessly clean. Server Assistants also greet Guests and take drink orders, while upholding the highest standards in safety and sanitation. Main Event offers a vibrant environment with lights, music, entertainment, and laughter, providing chef-inspired meals, full-service catering, a high-energy bar, and spaces for various events, aiming to create memorable experiences for families to reconnect, celebrate, compete, eat, and play.

Requirements

• Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
• Communicates effectively
• Sense of urgency and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends

Nice To Haves

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Supporting the Server, by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables and turning tables
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties
