About The Position
The Server Assistant supports the front-of-house team by ensuring the dining room runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests while assisting servers with service needs.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Reset and prepare tables quickly and accurately for incoming guests
- Deliver water, menus and supporting food items to tables
- Assist servers with food running and table maintenance
- Clear and clean tables, plates, glassware, and utensils promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and restrooms
- Refill water glasses and assist with guest needs when appropriate
- Stock service stations with necessary supplies
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
