About The Position

The Diplomat Beach Resort, transitioning into Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort, is seeking a Server Assistant for Palmea Kitchen, their Mediterranean-inspired breakfast eatery. The Food and Beverage team is elevating its craft to match the sophistication and energy of the refreshed restaurants and reimagined beachfront destination. This role is crucial in delivering outstanding guest service and financial profitability by setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, prior experience in a high-volume, professional, and time-sensitive environment, and a meticulous approach to their work.

Responsibilities

Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
