About The Position

Server Assistant Job Summary : The Server Assistant at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa is a full time hospitality and restaurant position responsible in assisting in the efficient operational functions of the restaurant, restaurant bar & lounge, and special events. The Server Assistant will provide efficient and legible service to all guests in a professional manner in harmony with the restaurant's service standards. Compensation & Benefits for Server Assistants: The Server Assistant is eligible to receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience in the field.

Requirements

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
1+ year in related field of restaurant, banquets, and hospitality is preferred
Stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to handle physical activity including bending, lifting up to 25-30 pounds, and other strenuous activities
Must maintain a high level of enthusiasm and dedication to the guest experience
Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

Set and refresh tables with place settings and linens according to restaurant standards
Rack and stack all dishes and utensils in dish area
Prepare condiments and beverages as needed
Assist wait staff with silverware rolling, replenishing drinks, food delivery, and other tasks as assigned
Ensure the cleanliness of the dining area, lounge, and outside areas including sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, and other duties as assigned
Assist in stocking service station with necessary items as needed
Assist in the preparation and breakdown of any special events
Adhere to safety and sanitary procedures
Other duties as assigned
