About The Position

Club Overiew:Shadow Wood Country Club, located between Naples and Ft. Myers Florida, was originally developed by the Bonita Bay Group in 1998, before becoming Member Owned in 2010. Blessed to exist in the highly desirable SW Florida region, Shadow Wood CC is a 54-hole private, member-owned facility with 900 Golfing Memberships. The Club currently enjoys a full membership and a waitlist to become a future member. This is achieved by creating a friendly environment, embracing feedback from our members, keeping our facilities and offerings relevant and fresh, caring for our staff, and being a good neighbor for our community.   Mission Statement: The mission of Shadow Wood Country Club is to enrich the lives of its members by providing exceptional golf, sports, and social activities that foster friendship and fellowship within a private, safe and secure, member-owned setting in a fiscally responsible manner.   Department Overview: The Club’s reputation for providing an extraordinary level of Member Service is maintained by its dedicated staff. In addition to three golf courses, the Club has four different dining venues as well as Ladies and Men’s Lounges. The Club has an active social calendar and hosts multiple member events weekly. The Shadow Wood CC Food & Beverage Operation is one of the largest in SW Florida. Shadow Wood Country Club’s does over $6 million in annual F&B revenue with a large portion of that coming from Ala Carte dining. The F&B department is a high volume operation which routinely hosts multiple banquets on a given day.

Requirements

  • Prior Country Club experience is not required, but is a plus.
  • Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet, walking, standing, stooping, and lifting, carrying food trays, tables, chairs, and furniture up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Remove used tableware between courses and bus to kitchen.
  • Clear tables after members finish, and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc., in appropriate areas for washing.
  • Promptly clean table tops and chairs between seating. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
  • Respond appropriately to member requests. Communicate requests to the server as needed.
  • Communicate with the server and hostess to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
  • Assist servers with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
  • Assist dining room supervision as directed.
  • Wash dishes in the absence of the dishwasher and/or as directed by the servers and manager.
