About The Position

The Server Assistant/Food Runner is a key contributor to delivering an exceptional dining experience in a refined, service-driven environment. This role supports seamless food service by ensuring orders are delivered accurately, promptly, and with attention to presentation and guest expectations. The ideal candidate understands and upholds the standards of a luxury residential community, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in a fast-paced dining environment
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
  • Professional demeanor with a guest-focused mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
  • Ability to stand and remain active for the duration of the scheduled shift
  • Ability to communicate verbally in a moderate to high-noise environment
  • Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to perform job duties accurately and safely

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the expeditor, kitchen team, and servers to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
  • Organize and manage food tickets to support smooth service flow
  • Verify food orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy, quality, and presentation standards
  • Deliver meals by course, placing dishes correctly in front of guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations always
  • Remain attentive to guest needs and promptly communicate concerns to management
  • Support team members to ensure a polished, professional dining experience
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
