Server Assistant/Food Runner

About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY The Server Assistant/Food Runner will work in both FOH and BOH to deliver food items to guests, prepare non-alcoholic beverages, prepare some light food items, deliver beverages to guests, assist in the set-up, cleaning and clearing of the dining room.

Requirements

Must be able to multi-task
Have the ability to work well under pressure and as a team
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Be able to maintain a high quality of friendly and attentive service to our patrons
Must have very strong verbal communication skills
Ability to bend, stoop, stand for up to six hours at a time and lift up to 25 pounds
A willingness to commit to the mission, vision, and values of the theater
Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state and/or federal laws

Responsibilities

Assist servers in properly serving food and beverages
Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next patrons
Ensure food and beverages have been made and garnished properly
Prepare non-alcoholic beverages
Some light food preparation
Ensure orders are grouped together and that customers receive the right order
Must be able to work positively with all staff members, independently and as part of a team
Uphold the standards of the organization at all times
Ensure that your station is kept clean, organized and closed properly at end of shift
General cleaning and maintenance of work areas, complete all assigned daily tasks
