About The Position

The Server Assistant at Four Seasons plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience by providing support to the wait staff and ensuring that restaurant areas are well-maintained and ready for service. This position involves a variety of tasks including clearing and setting tables, anticipating guest needs, and assisting in food preparation, all while maintaining a high standard of service in a luxury hotel environment.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of food service experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promptly clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silverware for service in a discreet manner.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up side stations and back of house areas.
