About The Position

There are immediate openings for AM & PM Server Assistants at The Fish Hopper Seafood and Steakhouse in Kona, HI. The Fish Hopper is a high volume restaurant that stays busy! We are right on Ali'i Drive across from Kailua Bay so we see all the action from the pier, cruise ships and traffic. Are you ready for a fast paced working environment? One that will keep you busy? Requirements

• Food Handler Card & Negative TB Test Required by State Law!
• No previous restaurant experience required
• Be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Have the aloha spirit and genuine warmth for our guests.
• Shifts available are for day and night times. Please say which one you'd like (day or night).
• Weekends and holidays, Saturday and Sunday nights are required shifts.

Responsibilities

• Between seatings, promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths.
• Check floor and clean as required.
• Reset and arrange tabletop.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Communicate guest request to server as needed.
• Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
