The Server and Virtualization Administrator will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The individual will perform the administration, ongoing support, configuration, deployment, proactive monitoring, and maintenance for Epic and other South Shore Health System applications, and the underlying operating systems, services, and virtualization platforms. The role will understand performance metrics, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues related to capacity or other performance issues. The individual will apply platform and software upgrades to production and non-production components to maintain the highest level of availability and performance. The Server and Virtualization Administrator will collaborate with other Information Systems colleagues, Information Security Officer, Information Systems Leadership, and other stakeholders to identify, develop, implement, and support cost-effective and functional information security controls for all aspects of the organization.
