About The Position

The Server AM-Restaurant 1 at Aimbridge Hospitality is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during the morning hours. This role involves taking food and drink orders, serving items, preparing checks, and ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations. The server must maintain a clean and organized dining area while delivering a warm and professional experience to all patrons.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification compliant with State regulations.
• Food Handlers certification compliant with State regulations.
• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
• Meet certification requirements for Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers as applicable.
• Familiarize with the restaurant and lounge organization and job functions.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menus and specials.
• Serve guests with food and beverage requirements in a courteous manner.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Operate the P.O.S. system effectively.
• Perform cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork.
• Execute opening and closing procedures according to station rotation.
• Ensure tables and side stands are stocked, tidy, and clean.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
