About The Position

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Laborer to join our septic installation crew. This role involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of septic systems, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and supporting equipment operators and crew leaders to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. This is a full-time seasonal position.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s license with a Class A or B CDL
Must be 18 years of age
Reliable individual who reports to work on time and ready to work each day
Strong attention to detail
Works and communicates well with others
Ability to lift heavy materials, work in varying weather conditions, and perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods
Bending/Stooping
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform repetitive manual tasks
Lift/Carry/Push/Pull (80 – 100 lbs)
Working in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

Assist with excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling for septic system installation.
Load, unload, and carry materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
Lay septic tanks, drainfields, and piping under the direction of crew leaders.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment as required.
Ensure job sites are kept clean, safe, and organized.
Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support equipment operators by spotting, guiding, or shoveling when needed.
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
Other duties as assigned to support the crew and job progress.
