About The Position

This is a physically demanding job and you must be able to perform manual labor as well as lifting, pulling, pushing and shoveling. Applicants must be able to work in the sun or rain to get jobs complete in a timely manner. Applicants must be able to take and follow directions and able to do some jobs by yourself if needed. Applicants should have at least 2 years septic experience but we will train the right candidate. Desire experience in installing and covering drain fields and tanks, should have basic knowledge in running excavators and skid-steers and sloping. Secure and inspect truck, trailer, load with all the tools, materials, and equipment needed for the day. Must be able to understand permits, elevation, site plans, setbacks, etc. Execute and manage all tasks on each job until completion. Manage jobs to meet proposed expectations for company and quality of work. Must have reliable transportation to and from work in Umatilla, FL.

Requirements

Superb customer service skills, honest, dependable, and reliable
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
Work and/or manage a 1-2 member team
Ability to understand invoices, work orders, parts lists
Good knowledge of tablets and smart phones
Must be able to run excavator, backhoe and skid steer efficiently and safely
Must have a valid/clean class B license to run truck, trailer, and heavy equipment
Strong Knowledge of plumbing/septic codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
Strong work ethic, coachable and willingness to grow
Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams and permits
Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
Attention to detail, diligent and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Available to work on-call and respond immediately to plumbing emergencies
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet auto insurance guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle
Eligible to legally work in the United States
Ability to pass a drug and background check
Perform pre-departure inspections
Physical dexterity with ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted
Ability to commute/relocate to Umatilla, FL
Reliable transportation to and from work in Umatilla, FL
