About The Position

The SEO Marketing Specialist is a versatile digital marketing role supporting servpro.com, franchise microsites, Google Business Profiles (GBP), and Citation Management Directories with a strong customer service focus. This position ensures accurate and optimized digital presence for franchise owners, assisting with onboarding, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple platforms. The objective is to maintain consistency, improve visibility, and support franchise operations through efficient execution of SEO-related tasks. This role reports to the Senior Manager, SEO.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Google Business Profiles and online directory management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format.
  • Customer service mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Self-disciplined and accountable, taking ownership of work, following through and completing assignments in a timely manner.
  • Basic understanding of search engines, SEO principles, and digital marketing concepts.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding and basic setup of new Google Business Profiles.
  • Maintain and update core business information (e.g., address, phone, tracking numbers).
  • Provide GBP access for franchise owners, managers, and approved vendors.
  • Support profile optimization requests (categories, service details, imagery).
  • Submit forms for new profiles, license splits, and related updates.
  • Escalate complex issues (e.g., reviews, appeals) to senior team members.
  • Perform routine task work to ensure accuracy and consistency across profiles.
  • Assist with franchisee onboarding/offboarding/transfers (microsites, GBP Profiles, redirects, etc.).
  • Domain Name System (DNS) administration (approve/deny requests per policy).
  • Aid in the support of franchisee inquiries and service requests (e.g. dashboard navigation and reporting, microsite administration tools, Google Business Profiles and Citation Directories, general troubleshooting, etc.) .
  • Respond to comments and inquiries for existing resources.
  • Assist with creation of net-new resource content.
