Position Summary The SEO & Web Performance Lead drives measurable improvements in website performance across a portfolio of client accounts. Leveraging Infinity’s Web Performance pillars—Visibility, Experience, Conversion, and Optimization—this role analyzes data, identifies high-impact opportunities, and delivers actionable recommendations that directly advance client results. The SEO & Web Performance Lead is a self-motivated, detail oriented team member who evaluates SEO and emerging AI search trends, refines content and user experience, supports CRO-driven enhancements, and collaborates across teams to ensure recommendations are implemented effectively and consistently achieve performance goals.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in SEO, website performance, or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency with SEMrush, GA4, Google Search Console, Clarity and related SEO, user behavior and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated success improving organic search visibility and website performance.
  • Ability to interpret performance data and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Experience implementing SEO updates in CMS environments (WordPress required; additional platforms a plus).
  • Understanding of content optimization and familiarity with basic CRO concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain recommendations clearly to clients and across teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Professionalism and discretion with sensitive client or business information.

Responsibilities

  • Suggest and implement SEO recommendations that strengthen website visibility across organic and AI search.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap assessments to inform opportunities for visibility and engagement.
  • Evaluate content quality, structure, and clarity to support improved experience and search performance.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance monitoring and reporting, highlighting actionable insights across our four pillars.
  • Communicate recommendations with clarity and confidence to help clients understand and adopt strategies that support their business goals and long-term performance.
  • Create performance strategies with clear prioritized roadmaps and action plans that guide ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Build content plans that improve visibility, strengthen user experience, and support ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Partner with subject-matter experts to ensure content plans, recommendations, and production align with client's goals and accurately address user needs.
  • Conduct SEO and web performance audits, including on-page optimization, internal linking, metadata, and structural improvements.
  • Review behavioral data and identify patterns that may inform basic conversion or user experience recommendations (e.g., messaging clarity, layout adjustments, content refinements).
  • Support web builds and redesigns by preparing SEO recommendations, metadata, content guidance, and redirect planning.
  • Collaborate across departments to enable cohesive web performance efforts.
  • Assist with proposals, scopes, and estimates for web performance programs.
  • Work closely with internal team members to ensure recommendations are implemented accurately and in alignment with performance goals.
  • Contribute to internal documentation, best practices, and process development to strengthen our optimization efforts.
  • Perform other performance optimization related duties as assigned.
