This position will be located in Roy, UT or El Segundo, CA and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

  • Perform functional management activities as well as program responsibilities.
  • Provide a wide range of people leadership/mentoring activities and foster a culture that allows employees to learn and grow.
  • Facilitate and execute the performance management cycle for direct reports, including setting goals and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Promote the professional development of the Homeroom workforce and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Manage and guide direct report annual goals, performance evaluations, and compensation reviews.
  • Ensure accurate time charging and timecard approvals.
  • Manage conflict resolution, performance issues, and improvement plans.
  • Mentor career growth for team of direct reports.
  • Align direct reports to technical roles based on program needs.
  • Develop and implement a unified AVE T&E strategy.
  • Establish and maintain a robust T&E framework.
  • Lead efforts to standardize T&E processes across all test teams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) delegate for Integrated Test Planning Work Packages.
  • Maintain updated estimates for project completion and manage schedule forecasts.
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM with a minimum of 6 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM with 4 years of related experience.
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application.
  • At least one year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
  • Experience supporting US Government contracts and customers.
  • Experience with defense acquisition milestones and milestone requirements.
  • Experience with systems engineering concepts.
  • Experience with compliance document tailoring and management.
  • Experience in collaboratively developing an integrated test plan.
  • Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS.
  • Experience with Model-Based Engineering Tools, such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
