Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer . This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. What You'll Get To Do: The primary role of this position will be to guide and lead the ME team's common processes and tool effort. This role will be very engaged with the ME team in the day-to-day activities of design reviews, producibility analysis, demand loading, and shop floor planning. In addition, this role is to provide technical leadership and manufacturing expertise to the team. The position will be a key leadership interfacing role with all IPTs, Supplier Management leads, and customers in establishing baselines, validating updates, follow-up, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of affordability and deployment strategies aligned with the strategic long-range program goals. Requirements

  • 12 Years with Bachelor's in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in an aerospace or military aviation Manufacturing Engineering role or similar role.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools including CPLM, SAP, MES or other related applications.
