Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree; Principal level requires 5 years with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's; 1 year with a PhD; or 9 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with FAR Government Property Regulations.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures asset management compliance with property system procedures and processes based on government requirements and regulations.
  • Establishing and managing property records for government property in accordance with FAR 52.245-1.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP (S4 Hana) with running reports to produce data needed for customer data calls.
  • Generating cycle count reports to perform the inventory and validation of material based on the physical inventory process.
  • Perform routine validation checks on record accuracy to ensure property records are maintained in accordance with FAR 52.245-1.
  • Processes transfers/shipments and prepares necessary paperwork and reports as required.
  • Performs inventories, utilization reviews, property surveys/audits, segregation and disposition of excess property.
  • Provides training and guidance to program employees to ensure government property compliance is maintained.
  • Works with management teams within the business unit and sector to develop innovative solutions for complex processes and issues.
  • Maintain property management metrics relative to property tracking and records.
