The LGM-35A Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program will completely replace the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM, an undertaking not performed in over 50 years. This program is considered a "mega-project" and one of the most complex in the history of the Department of Defense. As part of the U.S. Air Force's Integration Support Contract (ISC), BAE Systems provides advisory and assistance services in the areas of engineering, logistics, management, scientific analysis, and other subject matter expertise to augment and optimize management of the Sentinel ICBM Prime Contractor. As the Post Boost Team Lead within the Flight Systems Branch, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the Sentinel program. The Flight Systems Branch is responsible for evaluating the design of critical systems, including solid rocket motors, guidance equipment, navigation and control equipment, post-boost liquid propulsion systems, reentry vehicles, and support equipment. As a Program Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and project managers within the Post Boost section, providing strategic guidance and oversight across the acquisition lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution from planning to sustainment. You will foster collaborative relationships with customers, prime contractors, and internal stakeholders to guarantee alignment with project requirements and drive innovation. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing technical suitability, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies to ensure the success of the Post Boost systems.
