The Associate Systems Engineer position at Northrop Grumman involves supporting the Sentinel program through technical planning, system integration, and verification and validation of support equipment.   • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for Support Equipment.
  • Collaborate with Design, Integrated Logistics Support, Specialty Engineering, and project management in the development of Support Equipment for mission operational systems.
  • Conduct analysis and perform Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) for Support Equipment Architecture development.
  • Develop requirements using requirements management tools (DOORS).
  • Perform analyses at all levels of the product lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 1 year of Engineering experience for Associate Systems Engineer level.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, or 0 years of experience with a Master's degree for Systems Engineer level.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval.
  • Knowledge/training in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar).
  • Knowledge/Experience with Requirements management tools (DOORS, for example).
  • Understanding of System Engineering (SE) process, including SE experience across multiple levels of integration.
  • Experience with tools such as CAMEO, DOORS, Confluence, and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with Support Equipment and its uses, including Peculiar (PSE) and Common (CSE) Support Equipment.
  • Experience with the Sentinel program.
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering.
  • Experience with large scale aerospace/defense projects.
