About The Position
The Sensory Specialist position is a contract role based in Fremont, MI, with an immediate start date. The primary focus of this role is to support the development and management of internal sensory panels, which includes screening, training, and monitoring panelist performance. The individual will also be expected to become a superuser of internal sensory software after completing the necessary training. Responsibilities include managing and executing sensory research studies, leading internal technical tastings, planning and organizing sensory panel sessions, and analyzing sensory findings. The role requires close interaction with the SPX Principal Scientist to integrate sensory and consumer data within projects to ensure consumer preference.
