In this role, you'll work at the intersection of science and creativity, partnering closely with local development and sales teams, as well as our Global Sensory Team. You'll provide scientific leadership and deliver high‑quality sensory insights that drive innovation across the Perfumery & Beauty Division at dsm‑firmenich. Requirements

  • 5+ years within the field of Sensory/Consumer Science; management experience is a plus
  • Growth mindset and curiosity to learn and adapt to change
  • Digital savviness, great communication, organization, presentation and project management skills
  • Strong client-facing skills and client management experience
  • Expertise in a broad range of sensory techniques and statistical analysis
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a background in Sensory/Consumer Science

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver sensory projects by: Recommending and applying appropriate methodologies to meet project objectives Analyzing, interpreting, reporting and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders ensuring key insights are communicated to the business
  • Efficiently manage internal panels by: initiating appropriate training programs monitoring panel performance providing performance feedback to panelists Act as primary point of contact with test requestors and develop and maintain contact with the different functions
  • Manage a small team composed of a Sensory Analyst/Coordinator and contribute to their growth
  • Work closely with the Global Sensory Team to ensure good coordination of projects so that all sensory duties and responsibilities are completed in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain awareness of new developments in sensory research and their potential application to fragrance evaluation
