About The Position

Sensory Intern Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting consumer studies and daily sensory panels. The Sensory intern will assist and independently implement short-term consumer and expert panel studies designed by the sensory specialist. This is a part-time position with no more than 28hrs. per week. Duties: Consumer Studies Collect samples by either ordering from storage area or purchasing in the market. Assist in preparing samples as necessary. Set up and break down room in which consumer studies are held. Conduct consumer study, including pouring samples, providing instructions to consumers, and cleaning up. Daily Sensory Panel Collect and prepare samples to be ran on panels. Set up and break down sensory lab for panels. Conduct daily sensory panels. Purchase snacks provided after panels. Operate and maintain all appropriate equipment and workspaces. Experience/desired skills for this position: Must be 21+ Highly motivated individual able to plan and manage personal work and schedule. Excellent communication skills, both technical to communicate within quality assurance, and general to communicate with non-QA coworkers and consumers. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure. High attention to detail, ability to learn quickly and creatively problem-solve. Ability to exercise initiative and judgment as well as make decisions within the scope of assigned authority. Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
