Located in the middle of the Western Pacific Ocean, the U.S. Island territory of Guam is critically strategic to the Indo-Pacific region. Lockheed Martin Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems provide the foundation for Guam’s air and missile defense. As a leading mission integrator, Lockheed Martin is helping to deliver an integrated and persistent layered defense system forged by bringing together the best distributed sensors and shooters from across the services including: Layered missile defense system: Aegis Guam System, THAAD, PAC-3 360-degree radars and sensors and missile communications devices: RIG-360 Command and control battle management communications (C2BMC) This individual will be responsible for providing both "hands-on" support as well as leading a team that provides direct radar facility operations. maintenance, and logistics support for the Defense of Guam (DoG) radar site. This position is part of the RMS SEMS Global Sustainment organization. The Site Lead is responsible for all aspects of the Defense of Guam (DoG) radar and facilities operations, maintenance, management, and site activities. The Site Lead shall interface with the host base command for coordination of operations and services and identify/address potential operational issues between host base operations and Defense Of Guam Radar. Specific program related tasking for this position/group will be provided by the Defense of Guam (DoG) program management organization. Candiate will conduct site tours to Star level Officers and SES level customers. In addition to the radar facility operations and logistics management functions described above, the selected candidate shall provide functional group leadership including performance management and other related administrative support activities for assigned personnel; assist with management report inputs and development as required; interact with other SEMS Global Sustainment Leaders. Applicant must be capable of working within a small group of highly motivated and trained professionals who provide facilities, radar, mechanical, electrical, IT and electronics support 24/7. The team environment is critical for mission support. The selected candidate shall provide functional group leadership including performance management and other related administrative support activities for assigned personnel; assist with management report inputs and development as required; interact with other SEMS Global Sustainment Leaders. Applicant must be capable of working within a small group of highly motivated and trained professionals who provide facilities, radar, mechanical, electrical, IT and electronics support 24/7. The team environment is critical for mission support. Demonstrated full spectrum leadership capabilities. Demonstrated experience in Facility Operations functions, including knowledge of principles, standards, and techniques of safety and occupational health management, and applicable federal, DoD, and host base regulations pertaining to the protection of the environment. Experience being a part of a high performing team including the ability to take direction, provide direction when required and perform to exacting standards, utilizing strong writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to build effective relationships with internal/external project stakeholders including Key U.S. Government Customers and LM Program Office Leadership.
