If workers could feel a greater sense of financial well-being, think of what might be possible: stronger workplaces and more resilient futures for both employers and employees. As a senior copywriter in the Vanguard Workplace Solutions Marketing team, you’ll shape how employers and consultants across the country think about financial wellness. You’ll create compelling, clear, and compliant B2B product marketing content that brings to life Vanguard’s comprehensive approach to employee financial wellness—including advice, health savings, emergency funds, education savings, and student loan repayment programs. Your words will help plan sponsors understand why Vanguard leads the way in the financial wellness space. This is a creative and collaborative role. You’ll work closely with business experts, designers, and marketers to develop high-impact materials that drive awareness and consideration. Your strong writing transforms positioning and creative briefs into compelling promotional messages that differentiate our products and inspire our target audiences to take action. In this role, you will: Brainstorm and develop creative concepts with clients and colleagues incorporating a deep understanding of the business and industry. Gather comments and feedback from editors, editorial and content managers, subject matter experts, and other relevant parties. Provide insightful feedback to content submitters. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned industry and of Vanguard products, processes, and/or services. Research new topics as necessary. Demonstrate initiative and creativity in identifying and meeting client needs. Serve as mentor to less experienced writers by providing specific feedback on their copy, story ideas, new media formatting, and interviewing skills. Contribute and oversee content creation from the planning or draft stage to completion. Assist with evaluating and fine-tuning project scope, content strategy, requirements, and deadlines. Respond to edits and changes from subject matter experts with flexibility, while maintaining quality and accuracy. Teach and set Vanguard writing style and standards. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. You’ll work on a wide variety of marketing projects, including: Web articles and blog posts that tell compelling stories. Webpages that serve as hubs to drive engagement with clients and prospects. Scripts and storyboards for events and videos that show as well as tell. Digital advertising campaigns over a variety of channels. Client-focused email journeys to support demand generation and account-based marketing efforts. Presentations and other promotional materials that deliver information clients can put into action. If you’re driven by mission, thrive in a regulated environment, and enjoy writing about solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
