About The Position
The Worker's Compensation Orthopedic Editor will be responsible for the review and editing of Med-Legal reports. Medical writing and editing experience required.Duties and Responsibilities: Must have experience with Med-Legal Worker's Compensation reporting Must have experience with reviewing AME/QME reports Must have thorough understanding of AMC Guides 5th edition and Labor codes 4663 & 4664 Excellent communication, writing and grammar skills Must be well versed with worker's compensation and medical terminology Strong organizational skills, detailed-oriented, and ability to handle multiple task Must exhibit a high degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgment, initiative and high standard of ethics. Requirements
- 2 to 3 years' work experience in Workers Compensation cases
- Dependable and organized
- Receptive to constructive criticism and feedback
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow up on assignments
- Self-starter, proactive and works well with little supervision
- Excellent analytical skills, likes to be accurate and attention to detail
- Intermediate or higher skill level in WordPerfect and Word office
- Associates degree or higher
- Must have experience with Med-Legal Worker's Compensation reporting
- Must have experience with reviewing AME/QME reports
- Must have thorough understanding of AMC Guides 5th edition and Labor codes 4663 & 4664
- Excellent communication, writing and grammar skills
- Must be well versed with worker's compensation and medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills, detailed-oriented, and ability to handle multiple task

- Experience in Orthopedics and Pain Management preferred
