Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Wireless/RF Engineer, with a strong background in designing, deploying, and maintaining wireless and networking solutions across various industries.
  • Proficient in Wi-Fi protocols (802.11 standards) and LAN/WAN configurations.
  • Knowledgeable on IT/OT cybersecurity practices.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for procedure development and team collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • CISCO Certification (CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security).
  • Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) and Certified Wireless Design Professional (CWDP).

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed outdoor and indoor Wi-Fi site surveys, including large-scale outdoor surveys in oil and gas refineries and chemical plants, utilizing site survey tools such as Ekahau and AirMagnet.
  • Conduct comprehensive engineering studies to design Wi-Fi Plant Networks (WPN) in industrial settings, with ownership of configuring switches, routers, firewalls, outdoor mesh access points, Wireless LAN controller, and Windows OS industrial tablets.
  • Lead factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing and commissioning.
  • Deploy and integrate secure wireless networks within large manufacturing organizations' Process Control Domain (PCD) networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide training to clients and internal teams on wireless technologies and best practices.
  • Offer ongoing support to ensure optimal network performance.
