About The Position
OurClient is seeking a Senior Wireless Communication Systems Engineer to participate in all phases of wireless technology projects that include planning, design, implementation, prototyping, verification, and validation. This position is on a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of 3 days on-site per week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The role involves system design and requirement specification, algorithmic development, simulation, implementation, and testing. The engineer will also be responsible for system performance simulation, benchmarking, and testing, as well as fixed point modeling and FPGA design and verification support. In addition, the engineer will support FPGA and software development teams for hardware/software implementation and troubleshooting. Leading a team of multi-disciplinary engineers for product and feature development as needed is also a key responsibility. The engineer will set, track, and drive development schedules and tasks, design and participate in lab and field testing and troubleshooting, and prepare technical materials and documentation. Participation in R&D business development and capture efforts may be required, along with understanding current products and technologies to brainstorm future enhancements and strategies. As necessary, the engineer will perform other related duties as required. Infrequent travel may be necessary to support customer interactions or test and demonstration events.
