About The Position

The Raxium Facility and Equipment team maintains a broad range of semiconductor/facility equipment and cleanroom infrastructure. Our expertise lies in understanding the relationship between semiconductor processing and its support equipment, enabling us to troubleshoot problems, execute tasks, and collaborate on installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing cleanroom and facility support equipment. We are looking for a Senior Equipment Engineer to support our microLED and AR development. This role focuses on expert-level maintenance, support, and optimization of our semiconductor wet processing equipment. Supporting advanced wet processing equipment, you will support other critical toolsets if needed not limited to automated wet benches, chemical handling, ECP, CMP, SRD's, CDU's. You will support installations, troubleshoot complex issues, implement and perform preventative maintenance to maximize the reliability and performance of our toolsets. Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.

Requirements

  • Expertise in semiconductor wet processing equipment maintenance and optimization.
  • Experience with automated wet benches, chemical handling, ECP, CMP, SRD's, and CDU's.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex equipment issues.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance on semiconductor equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in microLED and AR development environments.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor fabrication processes.
